Earlier today, the first lady for the Republic of Ghana launched an initiative for children and pupils which is part of her project since her foundation was established in 2017.
She made in her speech that what ever you want to become as a child, start reading about that.
She believes strongly in the children of this nation and seeks to help grow a more educated youth in all field of endeavour.
The Rebecca Akuffo Addo Foundation was Established in January 2017, The Rebecca Foundation complements the efforts of government by undertaking the following; supporting and promoting initiatives that improve the economic status of women; enhancing literacy and learning skills in children; improving environmental health and sanitation by greening public spaces;
The foundation’s vision is to deliver excellence as a team and impact positively on the lives of Ghanaians
And mission is to identify and implement initiatives that support government efforts to improve the lives of Ghanaians, especially women and children.
The Rebecca Foundation is focused on reducing maternal mortality, improving the health of children as well as providing avenues to increase the economic contribution of women
This foundation had their maiden project at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital , also The Rebecca Foundation Cuts Sod For New Korle-Bu Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and many others.
